Inter-Tab History is a free, convenient, and easy-to-use extension that remembers where you left off, when you came back to a page, and when you closed it.
In addition, it also remembers the content of the page itself: everything you've seen so far and what you haven't.
You can do whatever you want on the page: play music, watch a video, or even edit it. But if you want to remember it, you can do that too. Just use the menu at the top and you can now add new items to your history.
How does Inter-Tab History work?
The extension stores your browser history and your open tabs in the form of items. It doesn't care if they're from the same site or even the same browser, so you don't need to worry about keeping them straight.
The extension is extremely easy to use. It just works. It remembers items that you've seen, that you haven't, and it remembers what's on the page. You can move them around and sort them to your heart's content. And if you get a new browser, or you close it, or the content changes, the extension will get that too.
Inter-Tab History remembers what you've seen so far, the last time you were there, what you haven't, and what's on the page.
It remembers your browsing history across opening new tabs and doesn't need any special permissions, as long as the page you want to remember has a URL.
